Iconic designs from independent suppliers

You can rest assured that the vintage fabrics at Honest Abode are all bought to you sustainably. You’re saving fabric from being thrown away, they’re sourced from within the UK (usually locally to me), and they’re shipped to you with sustainable, recyclable packaging.

But what about the vintage- inspired, modern fabrics?

The level of sustainability depends on the individual designers. I love to
stock fabrics from independent designers, which are made with organic cotton and are sourced in the UK. I often source deadstock fabric which, of course, saves metres from being discarded. I also love to reuse fabric from second- hand suppliers, further cutting down on waste.

While I buy all the fabric for Honest Abode within the UK, some designers of vintage-inspired fabrics are from all over the world, and the fabrics are printed
overseas. I personally can’t guarantee their origins, but I can promise I take every step I can to ensure my business is as sustainable as I can.

You’ll find sustainability information under each product. If you have any questions about the sustainability of specific fabrics, please do get in touch and I’ll share all the information I can with you.
